February is the Month of Love

Everyone likes to feel loved and appreciated. What better way to show Christ's love than to personally show that love to everyone we meet or see. No better love is shown than Christ sacrificing His life, not only our sins but the sins of others. Can the church share His love to others this month and throughout the year? I hope so.! This world needs it.

If you go to different Bible concordances and search the word LOVE you will find a different amount of matches. For example, Love in the NKJV=387 matches, while Love in the NIV = 551 matches, and even Love in the NLT = 659 matches. Out of all the love scriptures there is one that stands out to me. 1 Cor 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (NKJV)

During the month of February while “love is in the air” keep faith and hope as a priority. Above the faith and hope we must have love. Love for God and love for one another. God will always love you and so will Pastoral Care. Remember we are in this together and we care about you.
